“At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did.” ( Act 9:36)

Through prayer and diligent efforts, the Dorcas Missionary Ministry has been blessed to be able to focus on the Church’s Mission Statement by “going into the darkness of the world, overturning it with missions that feed, clothe, shelter, and minister to the sick and incarcerated.”  New members are needed to initiate new programs and maintain the existing ones:

Shelter Ministry, South Park End Shelter; Samaritan’s Purse,Tsunami Relief, International Relief; Operation Christmas Child,

Covenant to Care (Adopt A Social Worker) Program, Department of Children & Families; Angel Tree for Seniors

and Shut-ins of UBC, Sister Churches Missionary (Financial Contributions), Visitations to Sick and Shut-ins (By phone, in person, or through written communication)
